It is so much easier to tell people what we don’t like or don’t want but it is more difficult and takes more effort to ask people for what we want. To ask for what we want takes more effort, we have to first identify what it is we even want, and then figure out how to explain that to others. The problem with always talking about what we don’t like is that it doesn’t get us any closer to what it is you DO want.
